SU JOK ACUPUNCTURE AND CORRECTION OF IMPAIRED HOMEOSTASIS IN PATIENTS WITH LUNG TUBERCULOSIS

The study is concerned with the influence of Su Jok therapy on the dynamics of thyroid hormones content and cellular immunity indices in the blood of 25 patients with lung tuberculosis.
Su Jok therapy was administered considering the patients' individual energy and emotional constitutions, the areas corresponding to the affected organs were stimulated, and also chronopuncture was used.
The effectiveness of the inpatient stage of treatment amounted to 100% as compared to 78.7% obtained in the control group. This allows to conclude that application of Su Jok therapy in the whole complex of treating patients with such a pathology has a normalising effect on the indices of impaired homeostasis and enhances the effectiveness of specific medication therapy.
