APPLICATION OF ONNURI SU JOK ACUPUNCTURE IN THORACIC POSTHERPETIC NEURALGIA

A comparative study has been carried out of application of psychopharmacotherapy (antidepressants, anticonvulsives), Su Jok therapy (correspondence systems, Six Ki treatment, palmar lines treatment), and also of their combination in postherpetic complications in 110 patients. The author has come to the following conclusions:

• Su Jok therapy is highly effective in thoracic postherpetic neuralgia (PHN);
• effectiveness of Su Jok therapy depends directly on the duration of disease, the patients' age and psychoemotional disorders;
• more complicated forms of PHN require step-by-step enlargement of Su Jok therapy.

The articles describes the most common standard methods of Su Jok therapy for this disorders.
