COMPARATIVE EVALUATION OF CLINICAL EFFECTIVENESS OF TREATING PATIENTS WITH MARKED PAIN VERTEBROGENIC SYNDROME BY DRUG THERAPY AND SU JOK THERAPY

This study investigates the possibilities of Su Jok therapy both as a monotherapy and in combination with other methods when dealing with marked pain vertebrogenic syndromes. The article compares the results of treating 48 patients, presenting diagrams that illustrate different rate and degree of the effect obtained, the dynamics of the patients' clinical condition, stability of obtained results when employing Su Jok therapy and the standard medication and physiotherapeutic treatment. Basing on the obtained results, the authors have arrived at the conclusion that application of Su Jok therapy can make the treatment period two or three times shorter, reduce considerably the intake of analgesics and anti-inflammatory drugs.
